Roasted Broccoli
This is one of the absolute best ways to cook broccoli.
Ingredients
1-2# of broccoli
Olive oil
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Salt
Ground black pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Chop broccoli into bite-size pieces. Discard the larger stem, but you can use some of the more tender stem pieces.
Place chopped broccoli onto a baking sheet. Drizzle somewhat generously with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, onion powder and ground black pepper to your liking.
Roast for 20 minutes until broccoli is tender and some edges are a little crispy.
Pair with any of your favorite proteins or carbs and enjoy!
Notes
This works for any quantity of broccoli. If cooking more, do not overcrowd the pan otherwise the broccoli will steam instead of roast.
If using a commercial convection oven, shorten cooking time to 15 minutes and rotate pan half way through cooking time.
